Why Curbside Rules Matter in Ventura
Ventura has a single franchised trash hauler, E.J. Harrison & Sons. The City's bulky-item program covers large household items such as furniture, appliances, mattresses, carpet, and tires. Residential customers get two no-charge pickups per year, with up to four items in total. Items have to be scheduled with the hauler first, and the City says old furniture, mattresses, and appliances shouldn't be left at the curb beside your bins.
